Supporting Children Through Consistent Care
Greater Love supports child-development programs that help vulnerable children remain in school, receive practical care, and grow within a supportive community. Much of this work is carried out through NASA, Greater Love's primary partner in Andhra Pradesh.
Community-Based Care for Vulnerable Children
Some children face the loss of a parent, serious illness in the family, financial hardship, or other circumstances that place their education and wellbeing at risk.
The community-based care program provides practical support while helping children remain connected to family and community.
Support may include:
- Food and nutrition assistance
- Clothing and essential needs
- Educational support
- School-related expenses
- Basic healthcare and referrals
- Regular follow-up
- Enrichment activities
- Encouragement and mentoring
- Support toward greater confidence and independence
The aim is to provide consistent support so that children can remain in school, receive appropriate care, and continue growing within a supportive community.
Supporting a Child's Education
A child in the program faced the possibility of leaving school because of financial hardship at home. With educational support, nutrition assistance, and regular follow-up from local staff, the child has been able to continue attending school.
The support is practical and ongoing: helping address immediate needs while encouraging the child to remain focused on education.
